This series consists of correspondence, photographs, manuals, brochures, and audiovisual materials that document the volunteerism programs supported by the Governor's Office. Although a small portion of the records date back to the last administration of George C. Wallace, the bulk of the material was generated during the administration of Guy Hunt. The records represent the Office of Voluntary Citizen Participation which is now known as the Governor's Office of Volunteerism.
